I plugged the Picture Keeper into my laptop and it went to work right away.
I didn’t have to tell it where to go looking for photos, it knows, and best of all, it doesn’t save duplicate photos. I know I have a lot of those as I have back ups from old laptops on this new one.
I used a PK-8 Picture Keeper and the box says it can hold about 8k photos from a 5MP camera. How many this actually stored shocked me in the best way!
I started downloading photos at about 5:30pm
At about 8:30 the Picture Keeper had saved over 24,000 photos for me!
It was great to get this message when it was done and I loved how it told me how many more photos I have to save so I could try and guess what size Picture Keeper to get next.
All I have to do is get another one and plug it in and it will pick up where the other one left off. No hassle for me trying to figure out what is already saved an what isn’t!
No complicated software to install, no wires, and no monthly fee! I just put this in a pouch in on of our family photo books when filled and I know my photos are safe. I can pull it out and print photos when ever I want!
When I haven’t filled the new one, I will keep it on a key ring to have close at hand for backups!
