Nordic Naturals is a supplement company dedicated to bringing the safest and purest omega oils to those who need it. Who doesn’t need them? I didn’t think I did until my Dr who was running a great deal of tests looked at my low D number and got worried. I had taken Vit D drops for a while now as I am not a sun bunny to say the least and yet it still was not enough. I drink a lot of milk, and that is fortified with Vit D. Yet, it still was not enough, not by far. There is good reason why they fortify Vit D in our milk, near everyone does not get enough. Clearly I need more so when I was asked if I would review Nordic Naturals, I jumped at the opportunity. I honestly was just going to add more drops of the product I was already using and did not have this company in mind at all. I am glad I know better now.
So in short, I have been taking Ultimate Omega – D3 from Nordic Naturals. The pills seemed kind of large at first and I choke on other large pills but because of the thin shape, I have not had any issues at all with these pills. They do not leave a fishy after taste like some other fish oils I have tried in the past do. This one leaves a fresh lemon taste I enjoy and they add 1,000 I.U. of vit D to my day! Goodness do I need it.
Vitamin D Deficiency is no small issue. Symptoms can effect: –
– poor immune system. This is likely to lead to upper respiratory infection, recurrent viruses and many other infections.
Please take care and make sure you and your children are getting enough! They have great Gummy Worms for children that you might want to look into if you have children like mine who love such things!
