This is a healthy snack my Family Loves!
It is hard finding healthy snacks, it seems “healthy” is something that changes with the weather and it is certainly different for each person. I personally have a hard time dealing with grains in my diet and who exactly is sugar good for? How about dairy? Can you see why often my head spins as a crunchy mother trying to figure out just what is healthy and just what is good for my family to snack on?
Nature’s Hand kindly sent me and mine 3 bags of this lovely granola to test. Who better to test this than a blog about crunchy parenting right? I was excited about this brand and product and it has not disappointed in the least. In fact both bags where eaten and loved so fast I did not have a chance to take photos of them being enjoyed by my children. You must trust me, they love it!
I love that I have no guilt about this snack and I do believe it to be healthy for my children.
We tried the maple pecan and french vanilla almond. I loved the Vanilla best and my husband loved the Maple best, all four children all seemed to love them both equally. This is high praise from my children who like their parents seem to have opinions about everything under the sun and beyond.
My plans this summer are to keep this snack in the baby bag, the van, and to including it in the snack basket a few times a week for my little ones to grab as they wish. I like that it can travel so easy and not be harmed by the heat in the van. (or at least this is my hope! Only time will tell I guess!)
