This looks like so much fun. I have to say that I loved fishing growing up with my Dad. I remember so many time sitting in a boat with my Dad and he would tell me often to not play with my line. I would be forever making it bob up and down, fiddling with it. I caught fish doing it so I tended to not listen to my Dad about that. Dad is right about many things and maybe I might have caught more fish had I not played with the line but sitting still for hours was hard for me and plus, I still caught fish! I remember one year a fish jumped a foot away from the boat and splashed me. All of a sudden my Dad and Mom had moved their lines to where the fish jumped. My line was right near there all ready. We all wanted the fish. I played with my line and My dad thought I would chase the fish away, and I might have, only the fish seemed to like my bait dance and I caught the fish! It was the biggest rainbow trout we had seen in over 15 years on that lake. It was beautiful and my Dad was so proud of me. Years later when I was grown my Dad would still go to Canada to that lake and told me the picture of me and the fish was still on that cabin wall.
As a child I would have loved this fishing boat. I have never seen anything like it. I would have been able to fish and be very entertained at the same time. My brother would have loved it too as my Dad and him had a boat hobby. While my kids are not really into fishing, my son specially hates the idea of killing a fish and really dislikes bugs these days, I still think he might like this. We are moving to GA this winter and I hope we will have a nice fishing pond that a toy like this might work in! It looks like a blast! I am going to have to show my Dad this toy when next I see him!
