Perky Spotter PLUS – Review

Being a crunchy parent is all about keeping everyone in the home healthy. So many cleaners are harsh and some are down right deadly. Picking the best and safest is a mission we are all on. When given the opportunity to review Perky Spotter PLUS I was thrilled. Not only do my carpets really need help but this product is known for being safe.

I must admit before not having what I felt like was a great stain remover for the rug I would not work too hard on getting up spots and just let things sit till I pulled out the steam cleaner. Normally I would use baking soda and vinegar in the machine to get the rug cleaner. I say cleaner as some spots just refuse to leave. Maybe because I let them sit too long. I thought to really test this product I would see how bad one of the rooms rug could get after two weeks of not touching them beyond vacuuming. What an embarrassing photo this is too!

First I must apologize for my after photo! The before photo had natural lighting and was taken with a fairly good but old Canon camera. The After photo was taken at night, with a flash with a new Kodak easyshare. I am not sure I like this new camera honestly. I think though it is good enough to show the difference.

I really like how the carpet looks after. It got up the army boot yuck my husband drags in, got the pet mud paw prints out, the Popsicle stain even. To add to it before it all dried I took just warm water in the steam cleaner and went over the whole thing and I was so happy with how bright the whole carpet looked!

It works just the way it says it does!

It comes from Groom Industries and I wonder if they make steam cleaner solution too!
