Goodness did I sleep in after being out so late for midnight Black Friday fun. Yes it was fun and yes I kept safe. Though it was cold… I had my husband to cuddle with at least. Oh and we got to watch shows on his cell phone while we waited in lines. I know, I know, not very waldorf of us but still I say another point for Geeky parents! 🙂
I dragged my bottom most of the day, enjoyed family and food and my took some photos I am sure I will not get to posting till next week.
The important part though is that I got my word count down and then some even. I feel a lot better about yesterday fail for word count. I was inspired, Skillet was a muse for a bit and helped my fingers fly over the keys with the beat. Lovely!
I joined a 30 minute word war and then after explaining to my father what it was, I managed to win it with 1503 words! My Dad though bugged me about 10 minutes before it ended and I lost my train of thought, hushed him like I would a kid, and then near banged my head on the keys as my Write or Die screen started flashing red and then started deleting my words! Wow is that a motivator. You retype what the program killed and like that your back on track flying through with your story line. LOL I wonder what my word count would have been though had Dad not distracted me. I beat everyone in the word war, and so I end my day feeling very accomplished. Some days you just need a win, any win, you know? I love word wars!
Keep going! You can finish! I will finish too! 3 more of my writing friends finished today, I am so thrilled for them. We can do it too!
