Week 2 curse is hitting strong today.
I woke up with a swollen tongue and no other signs of anything being wrong. My tongue has indents of all my teeth on it and it hurts like heck. Yes I called the Dr, no I don’t think it is an allergic reaction but I also can not explain it. -sigh-
I slept a lot today on benadryl, thankfully my wonder hubby took care of the children and house while I napped. I really worried I would not make word count and actually get behind today. However I jumped into the writing chat room I so love and did some writing wars and some of us even made it a small drinking game, drinking all kinds of odd things like cranberry juice. LOL Every time we edited we had to drink, every time we typed BUT we had to drink, and any time we typed in the chat room during a word war we had to drink. Oh the funny that followed. I rocked the word wars though and don’t think anyone beat my word count on any of them. I made word count for the day fairly quickly and joyfully with so many laughs in between. Thank you NaNo writers!
So my advice, find some others to write with, online or at a write in and word war till your at least caught up! Hurry!
I think tomorrow night I might challenge a few to a blind folded word war! 🙂 Really no editing then! 🙂
