I feel so very lucky to have been able to come to my sisters wedding. It was a beautiful service full of the fun one can expect with a bridal party full of little children! It was just so…. “gay” in that old fashioned way. Full of joy.
So many people worked to make the day possible and it showed!
I could hardly hold the tears in as my sister was walking with her Dad down the isle. Our mother laid out her long train and was holding on to tears too. It was one of those moments….. just so happy you cry.
Today is here though and this means vacation for my not so little family is over. We start our long two day drive home this morning sadly. Vacation has been a busy fun adventure and I have loved it! I do though feel like I could sleep for a week! I do not think any vacation though with family down south will ever be what one would call “relaxing” as they are all just so busy by nature. Not to mention they are great about getting us out and showing us the sites! We all look forward to coming to visit again.
I doubt any trip here will top this one though.
