Do something different.
Sometimes you just have to do something silly. Today was something silly. For reading time with the little ones, I simply hung some fabric in a spot we have not yet read in and sat down. It was just a moment before I had a lap full of kids and books. After we had finished I soon found another child in the spot doing her own work…. a bit big for tents but then, I was under there before. LOL I love the having children lets me feel like I have an excuse to be silly. It is wonderful!
I think doing something different is important to homeschooling. While rhythm is important, so is adventure and surprise!
