I have been blogging for years now and I love it. I am often asked about blogging and I am happy to share what I have learned.
- Ask yourself if your doing it as a hobby or for family and friends only or if you want to build readers!
- Make social media pages for your blog and make sure those links are on your blog.
- If your wanting to make money with your blog do not expect it to happen right away.
- You can make your own blog, but there is no shame in paying for someone else to design it.
- Pay for your own hosting! Else the side like blogger could lose your content and you have no recourse.
- Back up your blog!
- Blog at least once a week.
- Don’t post “free” guest post advertizing for people, there are many people looking to take advantage of blogger, don’t let them!
- If you want to review items, look up how to write a good pitch letter and use the “contact us” buttons on their sites to send your letter too by e-mail.
- Make friends in the blogging world and ask how you can help them and work together! Teams are wonderful in the blog world.
