BEING ONTIME

Written by Fermin Washington

This last week, I have been doing a lot of research using the clear internet in my area. I have a serious problem with punctuality. I am late basically everywhere I go. Whether it be to a doctor’s office, to church, to work, you name it, I will be late. It drives my husband crazy. Honestly, I drive myself crazy being late. It is something that I really hate. It is embarrassing and is just unprofessional, I know, but it is something that I have struggled with for years. So far, I have decided to try one tip that I found on-line about how to be on-time. So if you have an appointment at four o’clock, you write in your planner that your appointment is fifteen minutes earlier. Force yourself to make it to all of your engagements fifteen minutes early. If you use the cutoff of fifteen minutes as the time that you are actually supposed to be there, you won’t be late. I have to say, I tried it the other day when I went to the dentist. I was only ten minutes early to my appointment, but setting an earlier time really helped! I am just hoping that I can keep this up!
