GLOW for a Cause

GLOW for a cause is the passion project of artist, teacher, and skincare productista, Johanna Querry Smith! When I first heard about it I loved how dedicated the company is to the purest and highest quality body care products they can create. I am more a geeky girl than a beauty one but the crunchy side of me tries to keep up with the big bads that end up on ingredient lists. What we put on our bodies, and on our children, end up in our bodies. When invited to try GLOW Body Butter I was excited to feel this product for myself. The packaging is simple and honestly not impressive, but some how comforting. Of course I read the ingredients right away, and guess what? I know these ingredients and they don’t scare me! This is impressive actually if you ask most crunchy Moms, this doesn’t happen often!

I opened the top and the scent of this “wish” Body Butter washed over me. It is divine. I thought to myself, why can’t I smell like a fairy magical mysterious creature all the time? Why don’t I get such products for myself all the time? Don’t I deserve this? I had no idea how much more magical I would feel when I touched the white cold surface of this potion. It is light and fluffy, not like a heavy cream. So smooth and I adored it right away. I put it first just on the harsher parts of my skin, like the back of my hands, elbow, heals and they suddenly felt silky. No sticky feeling, not oily either, but clearly different. Why do I not take care of myself like this I kept asking myself. I have been asking myself this now for days. I feel spoiled when I use GLOW for a cause. What else am I missing in this world?

I get my children safe items for bath time. Research the best pet food. Try not to use harsh cleaning products in the house. Happy to pay more for Organics. Yes some how it didn’t dawn on me that feeling great in my skin, the simple act of loving how something smells and makes me feel, was still important. I had forgotten. Have other moms forgotten?

If you have forgotten, I can’t say enough about GLOW for a Cause Body Butter Wish. I have no idea what their other products are like but I want to find out!
