So Cool! Sharks (ages 3-7, hardcover, $6.99 ) – Sharks are among the world’s top predators, but that’s just ONE reason why they are SO COOL. So who wouldn’t want to hang out with them to learn more! These books blend awesome animal photos with silly quips and info that will delight young readers and animal enthusiasts. For example, kids can catch the hunting habits of a great white shark while learning that its true nature is as chill as a frozen fish stick. This is the perfect little reader to get their brain buzzing and keep them laughing during their downtime.

Our oldest daughter and our youngest loved this little book. It is factual and funny! Our little one would like everyone to know that the Lemon shark is her favorite! She also would like it to be known that she checked with everyone and she is sure the Megalodon is very extinct. For some reason, that is the only shark that had her concerned! She, like all the kids, are very aware that people are more a danger to sharks than sharks we to people!

We are very thankful to National Geographic for all the work they do to save the sharks, educate the public, and for sending us these books to review and share with all of you!

Be sure to follow National Geographic on Facebook to not miss a shark-tastic thing!

I think my favorite shark is the whale shark. The pure massiveness is overwhelming!

I don’t really have much knowledge on sharks but I’d say that my favorite are the small sharks that you can put in aquariums at home!

I think the hammerheads are my favorite because they are terrifying but have such an interesting head shape that is fascinating.

I personally don’t like anything in the ocean but my son is a huge fan of all things sharks and fish lol! His favorite shark is the Megladon but since it is no longer with us he says his favorite “now” shark is the Great White.

I would say the tiger shark.
