Fun for All-Ages at the Mickeys Not-So-Scary Halloween Party!

If you’re planning a trip to Orlando anytime soon, won’t want to miss out on Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. The special event takes place each year from late August to early November. The specific dates for 2019’s celebration are August 16th through November 1st.

This Disney Halloween event is fun for the whole family. In addition to a bigger and better laser light and fireworks show, some of the things you have to look forward to by attending the Not-So-Scary Halloween Party include the Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular, Boo-to-You Halloween Parade, Cadaver Dan’s Barbershop Quartet, and opportunities to wear approved costumes, trick-or-treat for candy, and see your favorite character dressed up, too.

Attendees of Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party will wander through settings packed with thrills, chills, and villains — but won’t be too scary for the younger guests.

Ticket Prices for the Party

Buying your tickets online early entitles to you to a great deal of savings. For example, tickets start at $79 for select nights after receiving a $10 credit for purchasing them in advance. Having the opportunity to purchase tickets before the event begins allows you to maximize savings so you can spend more money on food, drinks, and souvenirs once in the park.

Not-So-Scary Foods to Eat

There are many opportunities to sample ghoulishly good foods while attending the party. Some fan favorites include Disney’s Not So Spooky Spectacular Dessert Party with Plaza Garden Viewing, Disney’s Not So Spooky Spectacular Dessert Party at Tomorrowland Terrace, Cruella’s Halloween Hide-A-Way, and Table-Service Dining at select locations through the Magic Kingdom. Sample some park favorites before retiring to the hotel where you can rest your weary bones in anticipation for another night of spooky treats.

Get Your Official PhotoPass Magic Shots Taken

One of the easiest souvenirs to acquire are the photographs taken by professionals throughout the park. You can purchase the PhotoPass Magic Shots and take them home to frame. It gives you something to look at every time you pass the photo. It serves as a reminder of the good times you and your family had meeting Mickey Mouse and all of his amazing friends.

Hotels Near Disney to Stay At

Location is important when staying in Orlando. That way, you don’t lose valuable time sitting in traffic or traveling to and from the Walt Disney World Resort and the hotel.

One of the family-friendly options that await you in the area is the Hyatt Place Lake Buena Vista. It’s one of the most popular hotels near Disney for families of all sizes because of its spacious rooms and a long list of premium amenities.

If you’re a water-loving family, consider the Walt Disney World Dolphin Resort. This hotel is right in Disney World and boasts a tranquil, tropical landscape. There are plenty of pools and beaches to relax when you’re done with Disney World.

Things to Do Near Disney

There are many things to do around the area outside of Disney. Theirs is a ton of shopping at local stores and even a few premium outlet malls. You can check out SeaWorld Orlando or Universal Studios Orlando, too. They’re within a short drive or ride from the hotel and offer their own Halloween celebrations. Note that Universal’s Halloween programming is not suitable for young children the way that Disney’s is.

Mickey, the Magic Kingdom, and Memories Galore

Take advantage of everything that Disney has to offer you and your family during the late summer and early fall. If it’s your first time attending Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, you’re in for a treat. You’ll make long-lasting memories with your spouse and children throughout the trip in a relaxed, fun-for-everyone environment.
