Kids Academy Releases Preschool Education Center
for iOS and Android!
I love finding free resources for kids and ones I can let my kids play on my cell phone when we are waiting for things is priceless. I am glad to be posting about Kids Academy and their new updated apps.
Kids Academy – the team behind some of the top educational apps for kids with over 10 million downloads worldwide just released the long-awaited version of their flagship app – Preschool Education Center.
As the name suggests, Preschool Education Center is an all-in-one educational app for kids and toddlers. The app covers all aspects of early childhood education from the alphabet and reading to writing, building vocabulary and developing math skills. Based on the proven Montessori method the app offers a number of fun games that help master essential learning skills through play.
As a homeschool mother I really value anything that helps my children learn while having fun. Out of 5 of my children this App is great for 2 of them in the right age range and they both like it. Thanks to great APPs and no added help from me one of our daughters taught herself to read when she was 3. She is 5 now and while she reads well her hand writing and math still have a long way to go. She likes the dog with a bone game to help with addition though warning, it seems a bit glitchy, sometimes freezing up my iPhone 5s.
One of my favorite parts is how easy and fun the tracing numbers and letters and shapes games are as letter formation is important. I like that they all start from the top down though wish they all went from left to right. This could just be a preference though. I took a class on teaching handwriting to also teach kids to read and spell and it was always top down and left to right. I don’t think this will confuse my children at all though and again, I am not sure it matters. There is a lot of content listed as coming soon and I really look forward to the sight words ones and telling time.
Until now, Preschool Education Center has only been available on iTunes but today’s release makes it finally available for Android device on Google Play! This fun and free app is currently being featured in the Family section of the Android store in the USA, Australia and Canada.

I will definitely be downloading this! I feel lost with the amount of apps out there and typically I download a ‘free’ or a ‘lite’ version and am disappointed with the program, or it’s full of adds! Thanks for the recommendation.
