La Maison fuChocolat is turning 40 this October and has commissioned Nasty, founder of the French street-art scene, to design limited-edition, boxes to go with their very special and beloved chocolate.
This ‘Choc is Chic’ collection (‘choc’ is shock in French, also a reference to chocolate) is now available online and in the boutiques. Pricing will is $30 for a box of 14 chocolates, $44 for a box of 12 macarons, $50 for an empty hatbox, and $85 for a box of 42 chocolates.
One of the fantastic things about this company is unlike so many others, you can order this chocolate in the summer, even in the deep south, and get it the next day unmelted! They offer complimentary overnight shipping with FEDEX on orders over $80. You can see by my little instagram video that it comes packed beautifully and securely and with care to get to you in the best shape. My chocolate came in a well labeled box with a cooler box inside it alone with cold packs that kept the chocolate perfectly safe from the 100 degree weather outside.

One of the things I think chocolates are great for is Self-Care Saturday. A few of my mommy friends have been struggling as of late with a lot of lifes hardships and I love hearing about what they all do for self-care.
