Art Squish Curriculum
This art curriculum goes week by week and is just $16 a month for access to everything a k-12 teacher needs or a homeschool parent needs. The lessons are rather epic in my opinion for helping to teach art and letting kids imaginations then run wonderfully wild. See my photos of my kids art below!
Grade 1 & 2 week 3 Art was about a Stars And Butterflies and used a few mediums such as oil pastels and water colors. My children loved the magic of using white oil pastel on large white paper and then finding their stars made of lines and curves when painting a night sky. We spent a bit of time with dark colors on other paper to practice the lines and curves. The teaching lessons with videos and how-to-lessons make it so easy to do Art with kids, even if you are like me and not very talented. As the kids art improves, so does mine! It is exciting and so much fun!
I grew up in a city near Boston and so Boston is my first big city. Now that we live in Georgia so far from home I tend to get nostalgic from time to time. I really love this project with the Boston Sky Line.
My 7 year old daughter added her own touch to this art project to, very bright and beautiful.
My 9 year old son thought his looks a bit like an Aurora. Our newest baby is names Aurora and he loves the name.
In addition to this lessons are we used some of the same techniques to make some fantastic Fall art with oil pastels and water colors again:

9 Year Old Sons View Of Fall. I can see their personalities in the textures and colors of these so well. They are both beautiful and on the wall now. Once you start with this art curriculum it is so easy to just keep going and keep creating.
Art Lessons Online

I really like that there are different grade levels. I would do the 1-2 for my boys, they’re not in first grade yet but I believe that would be the youngest available…and they’re very familiar with paints and our easel! The projects that you did are great! Is this for adults too?!
They do have adult levels! I agree, little kids can easily start with grade 1 & 2 with how adaptable the lessons are.
