While trying to help our little one potty learn and keep up good habits by the older little ones I am reminded how important it is to keep wipes in every bathroom and not just toilet paper.
Years ago a high ranking military man was in our home. He came out of our bathroom rather shocked and asked why we didn’t have wipes in the bathroom, the though with kids we surely would. I didn’t understand what he was talking about at first and then he explained. “If you went outside and fell into a pile of dog poo would you get up, wipe yourself off with some leaves and keep going with your day? I don’t think so, and yet that is what people essentially do with just toilet paper when they go to the bathroom. We have to do better when it comes to sanitation.” Granted, this man as it turns out is a bit of a germaphobe but he had a point. One I have not in all these years forgotten.
So if you come to home you will see wipes in my bathroom because not only are they more sanitary than just toilet paper, they work great! Babies and toddlers are already accustomed to them as well.
I haven’t thought about buying wipes for the bathroom but they adult ones are more expensive than baby wipes. Wipes are great for making sure you are clean, if you know what I mean.
