Do You Know The Tale Of The Tooth Fairy?

Everyone knows that every little fairy has a job, a job they love. Be it painting lady bugs, helping animals, bringing sweet dreams, or fixing things that are broken. But just how did the first tooth fairy get her start? This story book tells the tale! It is a sweet little book for children that is easy to read and quick as well, perfect for that child that needs a book to be read to them more than once before bed. The book comes in a sturdy box with a fairy doll inside. The doll is either a boy or a girl, and both are adorable. We got the boy doll. Both dolls come with a little pouch to keep the tooth in.

This is a wonderful gift, so wonderful that it got put away some place safe to review soon. Soon came and went and a tooth did too. Finally here is the review!

The box sits nicely on a book shelf to come out when you need it. The book inside the box has a page for record keeping so you can remember when teeth where lost. I like this part. I wish it had a line though to list multiple children and not just one.  When our 7 year old son lost a tooth we opened the box and read the story. He really liked the story, we all did, specially our 5 year old daughter who then went on to tell us about what jobs she would do as a fairy. It really is an adorable story. We put the tooth in the little bag and off to bed. I have to say, I wish the bag closed better. Little teeth can fall out easily and can be hard to find in it. I think we might replace the bad with a better one. In years past we have used the brass little cup you see beside this item in the picture above. I like the doll better though! With the exception of the small bag issue, this really is a top quality product that meets a need. Our kids lose their teeth and while the old traditions are wonderful this just adds to it in a way that is really helpful to a parent that doesn’t like losing teeth under pillows and then having to answer questions when money and teeth are both found! Awkward….
