DDC stands for Due Date Group.
I was blessed to fall into a DDC on mothering.com in 2007 that has been an amazing source of inspiration and support. I have met a hand full of the Mom, talked on the phone to many, and feel close to so many of them. When my Stormbaby is busy doing something, chances are someone else in the group has a little one doing the same things. It helps. Attachment parenting I think is what caused us to go to mothering.com but most everyone has moved passed that site, too much moderation seems to be the cause. Our own group has not been free of conflict but not everyone can get alone all the time. It is still an amazing group, each and everyone bringing something different to the group and each adding value.
The above photo is 3 of us and our little ones. It was a fantastic day at the sheep and wool festival and seeing other little ones parented so lovingly and respected and honestly a few just like a few of mine, wild, made the day perfect.
