Funny poems are something we all seem to love to read together, specially at bed time. This book is a big hit with our 11 year old these days.
I have to say it was not till very reciently that I even thought such poems, so silly had value though I remember loving them as a child. This book is filled with images that not only make one giggle but beg to be thought about for a while and words to tie even my toung in knots and many words to make my 5 year old stop and ask what they mean, this is a good thing! Some words I even have to look up to explain them better! If your looking for something new at bed time, try this book!
Now to see what kinds of poems these inspire in our children.
On another note, I was trying hard to work with apature in the first photo to get a blurry background. Epic fail I must say and could really use some tips on how to manage this!
