This toy I would guess is about 50 years old. It belonged to my father says my Meme. It was passed on to me as a child and now my own children play with it from time to time when I bring it out. I treasure it and so keep it up and away a lot but also I worry that maybe it is not safe. We have learned so much the last few years alone on the hazards of many plastics and toxic paint as well. I will however keep this toy and maybe share it with grand babies from time to time. It is so simple and sweet. It plays London Bridge and Row Row your boat. I saw remakes a few years ago and almost got one but again, I can’t be sure if they are safe. I rather bring in toys that with some research I can hope are safe!
