I was happy to review this product in exchange for my honest opinion!
When I had first seen this product I knew it was something I had to try. I have daughters in my home and I trim their hair all the time. This can be specially difficult with the younger ones. This product, the CreaClip looked like it would make the job quick an easy. Looking at the clips I also thought that this product would make a great gift! The price for them is $29.99 After ordering, the clips came fast. The packaging was secure and undamaged and opening the Creaclips wasn’t hard with scissors.
First up was my middle daughter who just turned 6. My stormbaby as I nicked named her here on my blog has some sensory sensitivities that can make clipping her hair difficult. She is a squirmy little one and so staying still is very hard for her. Still, she did a great job, even giving me the time to take a few photos. I simply brushed out her hair, and clipped around the part I wanted to cut. I brought it down to the level I needed and then using the bubble level built into the clip I made sure my cut would level. Course this means her head needs to be leven and not tilted! I snapped the CreaClip closed and snipped away! I found I wanted it even shorter so I just put the CreaClip back in her hair and adjusted again. Check out the before and after below!

And a few snips with the scissors and it was level and I was happy with it!
I am in hopes that she will soon let me go shorter with the cut as she has taken scissors to her own hair a few times now so she has some shorter “layers” in there and I would love to even them all out. One baby step at a time though!
To show how easy these are I braved asked my husband to cut my hair the CreaClip and this is the before and after photos!
He cut about 3 inches off the bottom and I love it! It is all even now and I have less dead ends! I know I am going to be bugging him to do it again soon. I think with the bubble level built into the clip that he felt a bit more manly about it all. Not that we have sexims issues in our house but it is a bit fun I think! (My son wears pink when he wants to and plays with dolls and we try not to teach our kids that jobs and tasks are connected to boys or girls. Just wanted to add this to be clear!)
So all in all, I love the CreaClips and do recommend them! My oldest daughter wants me to cut almost a foot of hair of hers and this is what I am going to use to do it!
