We have been exploring a new space game called Starlink Battle for Atlas! This is a game that is easy to keep fresh for gamers because after you buy the Starter Kit, you can then buy a Weapons kit, Pilot kit and Starship pack.
So what is this game? Starlink is an open world adventure where you get to build with modular toy technology that allows you to customize real-world physical starships that attach to controllers that you can take on adventures with.
You can play Starlink in Single Player or split screen with 2 players!
- Each modular component and pilot attached to the starship appears instantly in-game, allowing players to directly affect the course of their battle in a meaningful way.
You can find this game on not just the Nintendo Switch but also PlayStation®4 and Xbox One.

While all you need to get started is the Starter Kit, you will get much further and faster is you get another ship and more weapons for it!
This young strapping adventurer is our main pilot in this house! He was also the master at crashing into the ground as it turns out! When your ship is broken, you have to wait OR you can just attach another ship if you have one. You should have one our son insists. Actually, you might want 2 spares!
We recommend this game for any space loving family who like us, love to game. The pace on this game isn’t the fastest, there is a bit if dialog to help the story along, but it is all spoken out loud and I think is entertaining. My son though is all about getting to the next challenge! He is a super fan of Zelda for the puzzle aspect and he enjoys figuring things out in this game as well.
He thinks the weapons are the most important things to get for add ons FYI!
