Back To School Tax Free Weekends are beloved by many and knowing just when the dates are for your State is important. I keep coming across lists that say they are up to date for 2015 but they aren’t. - Alabama: Back-to-school sales tax holiday, August 7-9 – certain school supplies, computers, and clothing free of state sales tax.
- Arkansas: Back-to-school holiday, August 1-2. certain School Supplies, School Art Supplies, School Instructional Materials, and clothing free of state and local sales tax.
- Connecticut: August 16-22 Annual One-Week Sales and Use Tax Exclusion for Clothing and Footwear Costing Less Than $300
- Florida: Back-to-school holiday, August 7-16.
- Georgia: Back-to-school July 31 – August 1.
- Iowa: Clothing and footwear, August 7-8th.
- Louisiana: Back-to-school holiday, August 7th – 8th.
- Maryland: Shop Maryland Tax Free Week, August 9th – 15th. Qualifying apparel and footwear $100 or less, per item, are exempt from the state sales tax.
- Mississippi: clothing and footwear sales tax holiday, July 31st – Aug 1st.

- New Mexico: Gross receipts tax holiday for clothing and footwear, computers and school supplies, August 7-9.
- Ohio: Back to School Tax Free Weekend – August 7-9
- Oklahoma: Clothing and footwear holiday in August 7-9.
- South Carolina: Clothing, footwear, school supplies, computers. August 7-9.
- Tennessee: Sales tax holiday for clothing, computers and school supplies, August 7-9.
- Texas: Clothing and school supplies, August 7-9
- Virginia: Clothing and school supplies, Ausugst 7-9
