Urghh! How hard is it to buy grown men presents? There seems to be endless options on what to get the women in your life. Stuff like Toiletries, makeup, clothes, craft materials always go down well. But when it comes to buying a birthday or celebration gift the guys, it is so easy to draw a blank.
If that wasn’t bad enough, not only do you have to come up with something from you on every special occasion but you also need to help the kiddos pick out something suitable as well. Luckily, I have been thinking about this issue for a quite a while and have come up with a gift guide that you can read below, that should help you pick out something suitable.
Something homemade
Now, a really great go to for a gift from the kids to their father is something that they have made themselves. In fact, these can make the best gifts, because of all the love and hard work that has gone into them. As well as them being such a cute reminder of when they were small.
Ask most dads, and you will find that they have held onto a plasticine sculptures. Or macaroni pictures that they were gifted by their kids when they were young.
Of course, it’s also important that Dad doesn’t just get macaroni pictures and that he gets some real, shop bought presents too.

This means finding something that he will use but is also pretty cool. Something that maybe is a bit nicer than if he bought it himself.
Good ideas within this category include power tool sets. Try the ones with the single batteries that snap into each of the tools, so it saves on space. Or what about something practical and related to being a dad like this cool baby bag?
Something luxurious
While a practical gift often goes down well, dads so like to be spoilt too. So you should consider getting him something a little luxurious as well.
This could be something big and expensive like one of these blinging mens diamond rings? Or why not go for something smaller, like a luxurious bathrobe or a box of his favorite gourmet chocolates?
You could even try him with a spa day. Yes, he might complain at first but most guys actually really enjoy them once they get past their male pride.
Something fun
It can also be really nice to buy something fun for Dad from the kids. This can be something like a board or card game that is suitable for all the family. As then both dad and the little ones can play together.
Or, why not try something like the latest computer or console game for the PS4 or Xbox? As this can provide a nice break for dad. If he ever gets 10 minutes away from everything else that he has to do!
