5 Birthday ideas for Her

By her I mean my Best Friend! Or maybe your best friend, or your girl friend, or the lady who takes care of your pooch. What ever the case, we all have women to shop for and sometimes we just need ideas so here are a few of mine.

Recently one of my best friends had a birthday. In times past she asked for something I am going to list as number 5.

#5 Gift Cards

But to where? Does it really matter? Seems not to my friend. I personally do not like gift cards so I toyed with the idea of getting her a gift card to a hunting store just so she would maybe be more clear next time. Sadly I love her so I didn’t mess with her too much. Really though it is her idea you can’t go wrong with this so I thought I should include the option!

#4 Go on a Date!

Yes, you can go on a date with your best friend! Try a girly movie, a nice place to eat with nice wine, a book store visit perhaps. Time together is priceless really, specially if either of you are mothers or newlyweds. Women love time spent on them so this is a great gift idea. I am sure you have better date ideas than I do though!

#3 Shoes, Jewelry, or Books

I am not a shoe girl myself but I find that when I do buy the women in my life shoes, they tend to really love them and adore me for gifting such things. I don’t get it…. but I don’t have to get it! When I can’t figure out the shoe size I go for Jewelry. With necklaces, earing, and bracelets being rather easy to size, unlike rings, I find it easy to pick something shiny that they will like. Again, I don’t tend to understand it, I am not one of those girls. It just works though! This brings me to books. This is something I understand! If your girl likes books than chances are she has a wish list in half a dozen places! Just find one and pick a bunch of books off it to gift to her. She will adore you for it. I will adore you too for being just that perfect!

#2 Have something delivered!

 If your like me and many I know you might have a Her far away that you need to shop for. You might also be like me in that you suck at mailing things out in a timely manner, if ever at all even. So order something to be delivered for her.  Flowers, chocolates, stuffed animals. What ever it is, it will make her smile to receive something from you. We all love mail that is not bills right?

#1 Make Something!

 This is number #1 because some of my very favorite gifts personally are made made. A Scarf, a blanket, framed photos! The ideas are endless. Maybe put together a scrap book of your time together, or your dreams with one another. Maybe cook her favorite meal. What ever it is, if you put your time and effort into it, it will matter to her! Don’t down play your part in the gift because YOU are the greatest gift you can give someone.
