#365Grateful Project for 2014 – Day 5 and 6

If you are doing a photo a day challenge for 2014 I hope you are doing a better job than I am so far! I am more caught up than day 5 and 6 but I have been going slow with editing and getting photos share worthy online! I have really enjoyed seeing the photos friends and readers have been posting on facebook and twitter so far and you all inspire me to keep trying!

Day 5 – Grateful for a Man that Cooks!

Please ignore the busy lived in kitchen and focus on the handsome man in front of the stove making pain cakes late in the evening simply because one of his little girls asked him to. Yes, there are a lot of pancakes there because we are a family of 6 and thankfully when one child wants something, the rest tend to follow! Did you know they have boxed gluten free pan cakes that are actually good? I have to admit that I am not a domestic goddess and my husband isn’t either but he does enjoy cooking more than I do. He is a very hands on and hard working guy and I am so grateful to him for all he does!

Day 6 — Six pairs of Boot!

It was a record breaking cold storm in many parts of America and here in Maryland we got our share of it. It was so cold our house heater could not keep up and we resorted to trying to use a fire to keep warm. There must be a trick to it as it didn’t much help keep us warm or really dry boots! I am grateful though for having 6 pairs of boots in the house. Our not so little family all together dreaming of feet of snow to go with the cold!

I hope we get a lot of snow before we leave Maryland! Enjoy the last of winter, wherever you are!
