1 of the 533 Bloggers sharing the new Movie Delivery Man

When one of the marketing companies for Disney first put out the call for 533 bloggers to watch and share a trailer for the movie Delivery Man I knew I wanted to be one of them. So here I am sharing this great trailer for a movie that doesn’t come out till November 22nd. (My sons birthday!)

I was a surrogate mother so the topic of alternative paths to parenting is one that I love. I am not normally big on comedy I must admit but this one looks hysterical. The idea of a guy who has done about nothing with his life finding out his fathered 533 children and that some of those kids are battling the courts to find out who he is tickles me some how.

Families come in all sizes! My little sister is gay and her and her wife are raising their son and helping to raise their son’s half brother as well. It is not typical but it is working and the boys know they are very loved. As for me, I have a surrogate family I could never have imagined. I helped a gay couple have two beautiful daughters and they all became family. What I thought would be an act of kindness that would end after the girls births turned into so much more. There is anything ordinary about our family. While under my roof we have a mommy and daddy and our 4 children in truth our family is much bigger and it wonderful.
